EU partner Esprit day in Prague

Parague , 15 August 1997 On September 22, an Esprit Information day will be held in Prague, to inform Czech institutions and companies on the funding possibilities through this EC programme.

Esprit is an important EU funding source for research and development in the area of information technologies, software, multimedia, high-performance computing as well as long-term research.

Projects need at least two partners from two EU countries and the partners from the Czech Republic can participate and get funding from EU INCO (International Cooperation Fund) and/or from funds managed by the Ministry of Education, of the Czech Republic (MSMT CR).

On September 1997 an information day is held at the Institute of Information Theory and Automation of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in Prague, Czech Republic

It is organized by the Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic in the framework of project FEMIRC-CZ, the German IRCs (Innovation Relay Centres) Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Erfurt and UTIA AS CR.

Objectives of the meeting are:

Financing of partners from the Czech Republic.

Presentation of EU proposers about their ideas regarding of eventual joint proposals and consortia of partners.

Personal meetings of proposers (mainly from Germany) with potential partners from the Czech Republic in round tables and personal meetings.

Help with the orientation in ESPRIT documents.

There will be no fee for participants.
