European Multimedia and Electronic Commerce conference in Florence
Florence
, 15 August 1997
On November 3-5, the European Multimedia, Microprocessor Systems and Electronic Commerce will be held in Florence Italy. The event, with a conference and an exhibiton, is supported by the European Commision.
EMMSEC 97 will show how emerging technologies in Microprocessors, Multimedia and Electronic Commerce can generate new business ideas and opportunities.
The three conference topic areas are domains within ESPRIT, the specific Research and Technological Development Programme in the field of Information Technology, a pre-competitive, industry-oriented, collaborative research and development programme. Esprit is managed and co-funded by the European Community and is organised in close liaison with industry, national administrations and the research community.
EMMSEC 97 is the 7th Annual Conference and Exhibition in a series which this year has been expanded to cover three ESPRIT domains: Embedded Systems, Multimedia and Electronic Commerce.
Over 400 delegates, many from industries across Europe, are expected to register for the event. Associated with the conference is an exhibition of products, software, services, books, journals and ESPRIT projects.
