Encore dominates aerospace simulation market

Fort Lauderdale, 11 November 97 In a recent article printed in Flight Safety Magazine, a survey of military and civilian programs highlight Encore's domination of these segments. The 36 years old company is specialized in computer systems for simulation programs and has a majority share of the total simulation market.

The high performance computer systems and real-time clustering technology combined with Encore deterministic real-time software have been chosen for critical military and civilian simulation programs. In the military simulation market the computer systems are embedded in attack and cargo aircraft, bomber and surface/subsurface programs, general trainers and research systems. In the civilian aircraft market there are about 80 airlines that use Encore systems for flight simulation.
