SC98 - QSW developed SuperCluster products

Italian supercomputer vendor QSW developed SuperCluster products, which were shown for the first time at SC98, November 10-12,1998. The products are based on QSW's interconnect technology (QsNet) and its parallel operating environment. The SuperCluster products will be fully launched in January 1999.
The QSW technology is expected to become the network network interconnect of Qompaq/Digital's top of the line machines with multi-Tflop/s performance. Live demonstrations during SC98 of these enabling technologies integrated with commodity SMP components from both Compaq Computer Corporation and Sun Microsystems will be shown as part of QSW's HPC product portfolio.
