eOnline selects Sun Enterprise Servers as platform of choice for large SAP customers

Palo Alto 30 Nov 99 Sun Microsystem and eOnline, an SAP certified application service provider delivering enterprise-strength solutions, entered a global market agreement for SAP inter-enterprise software solutions for mid- and large-sized companies worldwide. Under the agreement, valued at more than US$ 90 million, eOnline will use Sun's Enterprise and Netra servers as the preferred platform for delivering services to customers with more than 500 users.

In related news, Sun and eOnline announced that eOnline will join Sun's ServiceProvider.com initiative at the Elite level. Sun's ServiceProvider.com program offers ASPs, ISPs and NSPs a portfolio of products, services and business practices that help them quickly develop and deploy new services while optimizing operations.

eOnline is a certified SAP Application Service Provider and is dedicated exclusively to delivering SAP solutions through the Internet or Virtual Private Networks (VPNs).
