Dutch Virtuality web site

Amsterdam 06 Jan 00 The newly launched website Virtuality gives an overview of the visualisation and virtual reality products, centres and companies in The Netherlands. Also usage in application areas such as construction, health care, entertainment, engineering and scientific visualisation is described.

The web site belongs to VISNET, The Dutch Platform HPCN has initiated this new network organisation VISNET - Visualisation in The Netherlands.

Goal of this organisation is to stimulate knowledge exchange on virtual reality in The Netherlands and promote this technology among potential users.

VISNET was inaugurated at a conference on visualisation for construction in The Hague, December 7th 1999.
