Visual Numerics to distribute software through

Boulder 15 May 00 Visual Numerics announced that its PV-WAVE product is being distributed by San Bruno, Calif.-based TestMart, an information and e-commerce market maker in the test and measurement (T&M) industry. All previously established sales channels for PV-WAVE, including Visual Numerics' direct sales force and its network of international distributors, remain intact.

Privately held TestMart was formed in 1998 to create community and to develop e-commerce applications for industrial technical equipment industries. The company's website, is a marketplace for buying and selling new, used and refurbished T&M equipment. More than 10,000 products from over 100 manufacturers are available for sale, rental or lease. Users can complete end-to-end transactions with the site's secure Buy Online and Sell Online features. TestMart operates on a transaction-based business model in which it acts as a principal -- taking title of new and used equipment and receiving a profit on all shipments. All new equipment carries the manufacturer's full product warranty. In addition, TestMart provides a best-of-class warranty for all used and refurbished equipment.
