Aachen release new version of MP-MPICH

Aachen 25 May 00 The University of Aachen, Germany, has released version 1.2.0 of MP-MPICH (Multi-Platform MPICH). It includes a number of new features for SCI-MPICH and NT-MPICH as well, like MPE logging API, MPI-IO for NTFS and reliable remote execution.

MP-MPICH is an extension of the MPICH provided by ANL. It operates under Windows NT, Solaris (x86/Sparc) and Linux and can communicate via TCP/IP, shared memory and also via a fast SCI interconnect. Everything is compilable from a single source tree. Benchmarks show that MP-MPICH offers exceptional performance for all of the available interconnects.
