GX Technology to provide Texaco with E-based depth imaging solutionsHouston 16 Oct 2000 GX Technology Corporation (GXT) signed a multi-million dollar, multi-year agreement to provide Texaco Inc. with a comprehensive range of prestack depth imaging and related solutions. Using GX' BLink, Texaco geoscientists are also able to complement GXT's services through remote, on-demand access to computing intensive EarthWave applications running on GXT's state-of-the-art clustered supercomputer.
A key aspect of these solutions is their on-line
management and delivery using GXT's new Web-based BLink E-Service.
GX Technology has supplied Texaco with a dedicated team of imaging professionals
and dedicated supercomputing resources to ensure high quality and rapid
turnaround for the portion of its imaging work outsourced to GXT. This work
includes 3D prestack depth imaging and associated 3D illumination studies.
