SUN buys more LSF licenses
San Jose 08 Nov 2000 Sun recently purchased additional LSF server licenses for its Systems Product Group, which designs a wide range of computer systems including enterprise appliances, desktop workstations, workgroup, mid-range and high-end servers, making it one of the largest users of Platform's LSF technology.
"LSF is an important solution as it enables us to fully utilize thousands of CPU's on an enterprise-wide level. This significantly improves our engineering productivity," said Uday Kapoor, Sun Microsystems' Director of Corporate CAD. " These additional LSF server licenses, enable us to more effectively manage workloads across a large computing infrastructure."
