NAG's Fortran 90 Library new release
Oxford 16 January 2001 Release 4 of fl90, NAG's Fortran 90 Library is now available. It gives access to over 250 generic user-callable procedures in the areas of optimization, linear algebra, sparse linear algebra, ordinary differential equations (ODEs), partial differential equations (PDEs), statistics, curve and surface fitting, polynomial solvers and quadrature. 41 new generic user-callable procedures have been added at Release 4, in the areas of PDEs, dense and sparse linear algebra, optimization, operations research and approximation.
NAG's Fortran 90 Library is thread-safe, functionality that allows developers the flexibility to take advantage of developing multi-threaded applications. Fl90 is also easy to incorporate into existing Fortran software applications.
NAG's Fortran 90 Library, Release 4, provides quality numerical algorithms, field-tested and proven, which means that developers can have complete confidence in the results of their numerical computation using NAG's world-class algorithms. NAG has very stringent QA procedures: only when an implementation satisfies NAG's stringent standards is it released. NAG's longstanding and global reputation for quality has made its mathematical and statistical algorithms a pre-requisite in commercial, industrial, research and educational organisations worldwide. The NAG Fortran 90 Library is supplied in double precision to ensure a high level of accuracy of results.
