Global Grid Forum Advisory Committee installed
Amsterdam 05 March 2001 The Global Grid Forum Advisory Committee first meeting is during the GGF1 conference in Amsterdam. The first chair of this committee is Paul Messina. European members are Alexander Reinefeld (ZIB) and Fabrizio Gagliardi (CERN).
Until recently Paul Messina was leading the US Department of Energy's Accelerated Strategic
Computing Initiative (ASCI) and has returned to Caltech where he
is Assistant Vice President for Scientific Computing, Director of the Center
for Advanced Computing Research, and Chief Architect for the National Partnership for
Advanced Computational Infrastructure (NPACI)
