ESI Group revenues up 28 percentParis 13 March 2001 ESI Group reported a a revenue increase for the fiscal year 2000 of 28 percent. to euro 40.8 million.
Licensing revenue increased by +35% with respect to the previous year, reaching euro 29.7 million. This figure is based on an 88% recurrence rate of revenue on the installed customer base and on new contracts representing 32% of licensing revenue. In accordance with ESI Group's strategic objectives, licensing revenue now represents 73% of total revenue, compared with 69% for 1999. Services and other revenues increased by 13% to euro 11.1 million. The increase in turnover for the FY2000 applies to ESI Group throughout the world, with the highest growth coming from Asia (+52%) and the USA (+71%), generating a geographical distribution evolution in favour of Asia (43%) and USA (12%) complementary to Europe (45%).
