Large Cray T3E accepted

Seattle 26 March 2001 Cray reported that a large Cray T3E system has successfully completed the 30-day acceptance test at a government customer site. As a result, this order will contribute approximately $21 million in product revenue in the quarter ending March 31, 2001.

"This customer acceptance underscores the reliability of our Cray T3E product and reinforces our previously communicated expectation to deliver a profitable first quarter 2001, with total revenues in the range of $46 to $48 million," said Cray Inc. Chairman and CEO Jim Rottsolk.
