Dolphin Interconnect announces high-performance clustering support for Novell NetWare 5 and NetWare 6Westlake Village 01 April 2001 Dolphin Interconnect introduced SCI high-performance clustering support for Novell NetWare 5 and NetWare 6 platforms. Dolphin is releasing NetWare Loadable Modules (NLMs) that support Novell's Cluster Services for Dolphin's range of PCI to SCI interconnect cards such as the 32Bit/33MHz PSB32, 64Bit/33MHz PSB64 and the 64Bit/66MHz PSB66. Dolphin is also releasing their SISCI programming libraries under GPL (GNU Public License) for the Novell NetWare 5 and NetWare 6 platforms.
Dolphin SCI is highly scalable clustering interconnect technology that delivers unmatched performance levels for computational and scientific clustering applications and is widely deployed throughout the world. The Dolphin PCI-SCI technology supports fully distributed clustered applications and provides a highly scalable Gigabyte parallel clustering fabric for connecting PCI-based file servers and personal computers. Dolphin SISCI API libraries are included in this release.
