SGI and Phoenix together in high-performance computing solutionsMountain View 10 May 2001 SGI and Phoenix Integration entered into an alliance under which Phoenix will provide process integration solutions for SGI high-performance computing platforms.
Phoenix President Brett Malone announced that his company is releasing new
software dedicated to multiprocessor SGI hardware systems and IRIX and
Linux operating systems. The new release includes support for ModelCenter software compiled
natively for IRIX and Linux, a new multiprocessor version of Analysis
Server technology and an innovative new networking service to coordinate
locating distributed analyses on any compute platform. ModelCenter helps teams distributed across the globe to integrate
computationally intensive design analysis tools using automation
techniques. A suite of graphical integration software products allows
users to form an integrated set of applications that can be used for
intensive multidisciplinary optimization analysis.
