ESI Group and MTS Systems to jointly develop and market noise and vibration simulation solutionsParis 15 June 2001 ESI Group and MTS Systems Corporation have closed a strategic business alliance focused on the noise and vibration simulation market. This agreement follows ESI Group recent acquisition of French editor Straco.
Expert in vibro-acoustic simulation, Straco has been a long standing partner of MTS. The purpose of this alliance is to deliver integrated noise and vibration simulation and analysis solutions combining ESI Group and MTS products. In addition to joint development and marketing programmes, the companies will collaborate on shared sales programmes worldwide. "This partnership is in line with ESI Group strategy to further develop software solutions to simulate a product's behaviour in its environment," said Alain de Rouvray, founder and president of ESI Group. "This partnership between ESI Group and MTS provides the industry with a unique solution to shorten and optimize the noise and vibration and handling development process through the use of the best of virtual and physical simulation."
