The centre, part of the UK e-Science Core Programme, the Centre is led by the CLRC e-Science Centre with participation from Edinburgh and Manchester Universities.

The Centre is hosting a web site which includes a Grid Starter Kit, documentation and installation guides. The Grid Starter Kit contains downloadable software and useful links to assist with building Globus, Condor and Storage Resource Broker (SRB) installations.
