Dassault Systemes is providing software and technical support for a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) laboratory. PLM enables collaboration at various stages of the product life, such as new product design or design modification to address manufacturing issues or customer requests for modification.
PLM promises to reduce the time to market of new products. The Internet-based technology allows industry to share research and development information with its partners and people to collaborate regardless of their physical location.
ENOVIA Portal Solutions, together with CATIA, DELMIA, ENOVIA 3dCom and ENOVIA DMU Navigator deploy possible scenarios where the Dassault Systèmes solutions shows the strength of PLM and at the same time introduce the SmarTeam suite from SmarTeam Inc., to increase the flexibility of the center.
