First Cracow Grid Workshop

Cracow 11 October 2001 The First Cracow Grid Workshop will be held in Cracow, Poland, November 5 - 6, 2001. The objective of the Workshop is to create and support a collaborative community of researchers, developers, practitioners and potential users in Poland and in the neighbouring countries who work in the fascinating field of grid technologies.

This new international meeting will cover

• overview of main European grid projects (DATAGRID, GRIDLAB, DATATAG, EUROGRID and others),
• presentation of the activity planned in the framework of the CROSSGRID project,
• presentation of research problems which were the main topics of the last Global Grid Forum.
