Modelling and simulation at military conference organised by Joint National Test Facility
Alexandria 07 December 2001 The US Joint National Test Facility (JNTF) and the 50th Space Wing are teaming to develop an IT and information assurance conference and exposition targeted at the specific needs of the Colorado Springs military community. The programme will take place June 19, 2002 at Schriever AFB in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
The organisation is currently seeking exhibit sponsors for the programme. The facility links DoD modelling and simulation sites around the nation allowing geographically dispersed centres to engage in shared theater and national missile command and control simulations. JNTF expertise includes development and operations using a wide variety of hardware ranging from supercomputer mainframes to workstations, and from stand-alone computers to distributed networks and multi-processor systems.
Topics of interest for the conference include Computer Security, Modelling and Simulation, Networking, Remote Network Management, ATM, Video Tele-conferencing, Database Search Engines, Database Storage, Securely Posting Information, Digital Signatures, File Transfer Protocol (FTP), Personal Computers, Virtual Private Networking (VPN), and all other technology needs.
The organisation is currently accepting exhibit space sponsors and presentation abstracts. Industry presenters must support the conference by exhibiting.
In addition to the Schriever event sponsored by the 50th and the JNTF, the AFCEA Colorado Springs Chapter is sponsoring an IT Conference and Exposition at Peterson AFB on June 20, the day after the Schriever event.
The JNTF, OSD, and the 50th Air Wing have selected Technology Forums to help coordinate the programme.
