Paderborn 24 December 2001 The EURO-PAR 2002 Conference will be held in Paderborn, Germany from 27 to 30 August, 2002. Researchers with interest in both conventional and non-conventional approaches are invited to submit a paper.

The aim of the conference organisers is to bring together researchers in the fields of parallel computer architecture and processor architecture.

Papers are being sought on all aspects of parallel computer architecture, processor architecture and microarchitecture, including but not limited to the following list of topics:

  • Parallel computer architecture
  • ILP architectures and designs
  • Innovative microarchitecture and implementation techniques
  • Performance evaluation and benchmarking of processor architectures
  • Low power microarchitecture design
  • Branch prediction and value prediction techniques
  • Thread-level speculation techniques
  • Multithreaded processors and chip multiprocessors
  • Techniques for improving memory system performance
  • Communication organisation for multiprocessors and chip multiprocessors
  • Theoretical foundations of processor architectures
  • Compilation techniques for Topic 8 architectures
  • Application-specific and embedded processors
  • Stream processing microarchitecture techniques
  • Signal processors
  • Network processors
  • Reconfigurable processors
  • Asynchronous processors
