First European Nanotechnology Meets Business event coming upFrankfurt 06 September 2002 The first European "Nanotechnology Meets Business" event will be held April 8-9, 2003. It is organised by the Institute of Nanotechnology and aims to promote the commercial potential of nanotechnology across Europe.
New nanotechnology companies with products or prototypes will present their innovations to prominent investors from both the financial and corporate sectors. There will be an opportunity for innovators who are less advanced in the commercialisation process to meet with investors also.
Delegates will be able to listen to the major industrial players, discuss what they are seeking from nanotechnology, and hear case studies of successful investments already made in nanotechnology companies.
The event will also include an exhibition and poster display, and break-out rooms will be available for meetings on a one-to-one basis.
