Candidates who are knowledgeable in software engineering and interested in one or more of the following areas are encouraged to apply:

• Programming paradigms and methods for distributed/parallel systems
• Programming environments for Cluster and Grid Computing
• Performance modeling and analysis for distributed/parallel systems

Applicants must hold a master or equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering and are expected to contribute to teaching and research. Language skills: German and English. Applicants are expected to develop working knowledge in German - especially in the context of teaching - within reasonable time.
