"HP Flexible Computing is an ideal solution for organisations needing additional IT resources for compute-intensive jobs on an as-needed basis", stated Jack Kay, president and CEO of Scali. "Customers can now maximize the productivity of those resources by leveraging Scali Manage and Scali MPI Connect to best utilize extra compute cycles."
Scali Manage provides the most complete, integrated and flexible cluster management and monitoring system commercially available. Scali Manage is used to provision, re-provision, manage and maintain clusters, Grids of clusters, and clustered file systems from 4 to 1000's of nodes in commercial, research and academic environments. It includes comprehensive tools for system installation, configuration, re-configuration, management and monitoring in addition to support for the leading cluster interconnects and platforms. The result is a fully-integrated and proven computing environment that reduces costs, increases efficiencies and improves price performance ratios associated with building and running clusters.
Scali MPI Connect is a fully integrated message passing interface (MPI) solution, designed to enable applications to run at maximum performance through its unique, high performance MPI implementation. With Scali MPI Connect, application developers can take advantage of leading interconnect technologies to build high performance clusters. Scali MPI Connect supports a wider range of customer environments while lowering the number of binaries required, and delivers faster performance through application enhancement.
