"With the growth of more powerful, multi-core based systems, we see Windows CCS as a growing alternative to existing server-based Linux environments", stated Jack Kay, CEO of Scali Inc. "Customers are looking to maximize the performance they can get from their MPI-based applications, and many have requested support for this new operating environment."
This new version of Scali MPI Connect leverages the advanced algorithms and leading performance that Scali has been delivering to Linux users for years and makes it available to the growing number of organisations using Windows CCS. Additionally, the Scali MPI Connect Windows product is fully compatible and consistent with the company's Linux version, allowing users to create a seamless environment of both Linux and Windows platforms, simplifying the development, support and administration of heterogeneous installations.
Scali MPI Connect 5.5 will support both the Windows and Linux platforms, and will be available July 31, 2007. |
