Tim has been the President of Dolphin's US subsidiary, Dolphin Inc. He has also held overall responsibility for marketing in the Dolphin Group. Dolphin Inc. currently has 15 employees, with the majority of its activities and employees gained as a result of the acquisition of StarGen Inc. earlier this year. Tim will continue to utilize the Dolphin Inc. offices in Marlborough, Massachusetts, while the company headquarter will remain located in Oslo.

Tim holds a Bachlor degree in engineering from Cornell and Master degrees in Business Administration and Computer Science from Wharton and the University of Pensylvania, respectively. He has more than 20 years of experience in the semiconductor and IT industries including 14 years with Digital Equipment Corporation Inc. during the 1980's and 1990's in various sales, marketing and general management positions. Tim was among the founders of StarGen Inc. in 1999, initially responsible for sales and marketing, before being appointed CEO of StarGen Inc. in 2004.

The Board of Directors believes Dolphin has put in place an extremely strong portfolio of products and technologies under Kare's leadership which are being further strengthened through the acquisition of StarGen. Dolphin will, in the months ahead, be launching a number of interesting new products including SuperSockets, Dolphin Express and NumaChip, and now is the appropriate time to complement the company's traditional strengths in innovation and product development with strong emphasis on building out the company's sales and marketing infrastructure. The Board believes Tim brings the appropriate market experience and background to help drive this initiative and bring the company to its next phase of growth.
