SGI introduces new midrange server

Mountain View 19 Jul 99 SGI newest line of midrange deskside servers is called the SG 2100 and offers customers interoperability and scalability from two- to eight-processors.

The SGI 2100 server with MIPSRISC microprocessors is available in two-, four- or eight-processor configurations with the IRIX® 6.5 Advanced Server Environment starting at $33,000 (U.S. list).
