Scotttsdale 03 Aug 99 TheLinux Store announced a distribution agreement with Alpha Processor Inc., (API), a provider of fast 64-bit microprocessor and related technologies. Under this agreement, API's next-generation motherboards, based on Alpha processors, will be made available through TheLinuxStore.com the company's e-commerce storefront.

Already offering low-cost, fully-configured Linux systems based primarily on Intel processors, TheLinuxStore.com is adding API's Ultimate Performance Series motherboards, ideal for high-performance technical computing and other emerging application sectors.

The addition of API's cutting-edge Alpha solutions gives cost-conscience customers of TheLinuxStore.com a high-performance alternative to current Alpha x86 offerings at unprecedented price-points for Alpha.
