A key project to provide continued technical support to the Defense Supply
Center Philadelphia (DSCP) for management of the Digital Imaging Network -
Picture Archiving and Communications System (DIN-PACS) was shortly ago extended for an indefinite period. The DIN-PACS project is the Department of Defense's open architecture based telemedicine solution to support digital radiology requirements.
ITI's highly recognised telemedicine experience and expertise also recently resulted in a new contract with the U.S. Navy. ITI is providing acceptance testing services for the newly installed IBM system for Picture Archiving and Communications (PACS) at the new Naval Medical Center, that was opened in Norfolk, Virginia, last year. A part of the ITI personnel is also currently managing several other PACS implementations in federal and commercial health care facilities all over the United States.
