MDeverywhere and Per-Se Technologies partner to provide mobile charge capture to physicians

Durham 14 February 2002Per-Se Technologies Inc. has executed a referral relationship with MDeverywhere to offer mobile charge capture to Per-Se's more than 15.000 medical billing clients. The partnership is expected to significantly increase physician revenue and curtail administrative costs associated with filing claims. MDeverywhere is specialised in providing handheld solutions for physicians to improve efficiency and accuracy at the point of care.


MDeverywhere offers the most advanced, secure point-of-care tools designed to streamline the business of medicine for physicians. The solutions, EveryCharge for charge capture, EveryNote for voice dictation, EveryOrder for order entry, and EveryReference consisting of customisable reference tools, are designed to build efficiency and productivity into physicians' work flow, recouping dollars previously lost as the result of bulky administrative and outcomes reporting processes.

Atlanta-based Per-Se is an expert in delivering business management outsourcing services, financial and clinical software solutions, and Internet-enabled connectivity for the health care industry. "Our partnership with MDeverywhere provides us with the ability to offer our clients one of the most effective charge capture tools available", said Frank B. MDeverywhere and Per-Se will jointly market MDeverywhere's lead product, EveryCharge to the Per-Se Physician Services client base. EveryCharge enables physicians to capture diagnoses, treatments, and other billing information at the point-of-care, which results in a reduction of errors and paperwork and leads to a more efficient billing process.

Per-Se supports 35.000 physicians and 2000 health care organisations. Per-Se processes more than 240 million medical transactions annually and its solutions manage 26 million patient lives on-line.

MDeverywhere has successfully constructed interfaces with all major practice management systems and is available on Palm OS- and Pocket PC-based handheld devices or desktop workstations. The company's strategic partners include Experior Corporation, Siemens Medical Solutions Health Services, the TriZetto Group, and Info-X.

Seven consecutive return on investment studies at major health care organisations proved an average 317 percent return on investment and total annualised savings of $400.000.
