NovaSync partners with InterSystems to build mobile health care applications on Cache database

Farmingdale 19 June 2002NovaSync Corporation has signed an agreement with InterSystems Corporation to incorporate InterSystems' Cache database into NovaSync's suite of mobile health care applications which include Pocket Point of Care, Home Care Planner and Resident Tracker. By integrating the high performance Cache database with NovaSync's powerful, easy to use PDA and tablet-based health care solutions, NovaSync plans to deliver a suite of superior enterprise-grade mobile applications which address key issues large health care organisations face when undertaking mobile initiatives such as database security, stability, and scalability.


Health care organisations already using Cache at the desktop level will reap the additional benefit of being able to achieve seamless data integration between their back office and field-based operations. InterSystems is the database software expert in the health care sector, with Cache in use at the ten best hospitals in the United States, as rated by U.S. News and World Report.

NovaSync is the first InterSystems partner to incorporate Cache in a mobile software application. As part of the agreement, the combined solution will be jointly marketed on a national and international basis.
