Physicians Hospital of El Paso deploys Pyxis SAFETYnet to help reduce medical errors

San Diego 10 October 2002Pyxis Corporation, a subsidiary of Cardinal Health Inc., has signed an agreement with Physicians Hospital of El Paso, Texas, to provide its comprehensive suite of medication and supply automation and information management technology for the new physician-owned health care facility. Opening in March 2003, the facility will provide high-quality, personalised care to patients throughout the southwestern United States. Physicians Hospital will also install the new PyxisVisualMED computerised physician order entry system.
