"With the multi-facility capabilities within Misys Laboratory, St. Vincent Hospital can cost-effectively extend its laboratory services reach to the many Prevea Health Service clinics throughout the Green Bay area", stated Carol Wotruba, Laboratory Director for St. Vincent Hospital. "This initiative will help improve our service levels throughout our health care network and position our organisation for further growth with our scalable Misys Laboratory information system."
"The laboratory is playing an increasing important role across the entire health care enterprise", stated Andrew Lawson, Misys Healthcare Systems Chief Operating Officer. "We are pleased that St. Vincent Hospital has chosen to take advantage of Misys Laboratory scalability and we look forward to continuing our partnership with them as they grow and expand their clinical services across their health care network."
Misys Multi-Facility software allows multiple hospital information systems to integrate with a single multi-facility database while maintaining the complete separation of patient data via the hospital I.D. This enables each laboratory within the facility to collaborate and deliver the highest level of service and yet retain its identity. This results in reduced training, integration, and system management support costs.
