Per-Se Technologies' Patient1 product line purchased by Misys Healthcare Systems

Tucson 19 June 2003Misys Healthcare Systems has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Per-Se Technologies Inc. to acquire the Computerised Patient Record/Computerised Physician Order Entry (CPR/CPOE) product line currently marketed as Patient1. Under the terms of the agreement and pending final transaction closing, Misys Healthcare Systems will assume support agreements for the extensive base of Patient1 clients and will develop, market and support the products as Misys CPR and Misys CPOE. Misys will also assume ownership of Decision1, the clinical data warehousing and advanced reporting tool companion to Patient1.

The acquisition of this innovative and powerful product line helps Misys Healthcare to fulfil its vision to deliver robust IT solutions that are easy to use, install, integrate and support.
