"We are enthusiastic about the merger", stated Howard Jewell, MDeverywhere president and CEO. "We had been working with Med e-Manager as a client and found that the companies' missions align well. Based on the initial response to our combined marketing initiatives, we believe the merger will facilitate greater penetration of the market, and clients will benefit from a broader selection of customisable solutions to help improve their revenue cycle results."

MDeverywhere's and Med e-Manager's existing clients will continue to receive the same superior level of service they have become accustomed to and will now have access to additional, complementary services. The combined company will continue to focus on helping physicians manage the revenue side of their business in more efficient ways through the application of state-of-the-art information technology and services.

"We have helped our customers confront and manage billing issues for more than 15 years and were so impressed with the pro-active nature and robustness of the MDeverywhere solution, we sought to make it a permanent element of our revenue management tools", stated David Fetterolf, president and CEO Med e-Manager. "MDeverywhere's market-leading technology strategically positions Med e-Manager to profitably expand operations and revenue."

The company headquarters will be located in Melville, New York with locations in Research Triangle Park, North Carolina; Hollywood, Florida; and Plainview, New York. As a result of the acquisition and consolidation of operations, there will be some reduction in work force. The company will be led, going forward, by David Fetterolf.

"As a Med e-Manager client, we are very familiar with the company and its expertise. The opportunity to implement the MDeverywhere solution was presented to us earlier this year", stated John Cleary, VP for physician services, Lutheran HealthCare in Brooklyn, New York. "We were excited about using handheld charge capture to improve our operations and reduce lost charges. Now, with all resources under one company umbrella, I am confident moving forward with the MDeverywhere charge capture solution."

Med e-Manager is a provider of physician billing and accounts receivable management services to physicians, offering the advantages of state-of-the-art billing techniques, information systems technology and the MDeverywhere EveryCharge point-of-care charge capture product.

The solutions build efficiency and productivity into physicians' practices, reclaiming dollars previously lost as the result of a bulky administrative process and reducing the stresses of collections. Physician practices using the MDeverywhere EveryCharge charge capture solution have experienced an average of more than 300 percent return on investment.
