"It was clear we needed a comprehensive laboratory system to accommodate our current and expected growth and that could automate our lab processes", stated Pam Piar, Senior IT Executive for the South Region. "We chose the Misys Laboratory suite of products based on Misys reputation for support, laboratory system functionality and our organisation's long-term relationship with Misys through the Cleveland Clinic Foundation."

Cleveland Clinic Florida expanded its organisation to Naples approximately three years ago, along with a strategic plan to bring the Cleveland Clinic reputation of world-class health care quality to Southwest Florida residents. Today, it is a fully integrated medical campus that includes a modern clinic, housing physicians representing more than twenty different specialities plus a state-of-the-art surgery centre, a fully-equipped diagnostic centre, and a new 70-bed hospital, all in a single location.

One of the newest medical centres in the state of Florida, Cleveland Clinic Florida in Weston is also one of the most advanced. Like its twin facility in Naples, it is a fully integrated campus including a state-of-the-art Clinic housing a medical staff with more than 120 physicians practising more than 40 different medical specialities, as well as a full-service hospital with 150 beds.

"Misys is pleased to expand our partnership with the Cleveland Clinic Foundation and specifically with its southern hospitals and clinics", stated Andrew Lawson, Chief Operating Officer, Misys Healthcare Systems. "We look forward to ensuring a successful implementation and supporting them and helping them achieve their continued growth and clinical services goals."
