Misys Healthcare Systems teams with Foundation Management Services to provide affordable homecare technology

Raleigh 01 February 2005Misys Healthcare Systems has entered into an agreement with Foundation Management Services as part of a joint strategy to provide Misys Homecare in an Application Service Provider (ASP) environment for start-up to mid-size homecare and hospice agencies seeking affordable advanced software to automate clinical and financial operations. The contract is Misys' first successful venture to broaden sales channels of Misys Homecare into the managed services organisation (MSO) market.

Foundation Management Services, in Denton, Texas, a suburb in Dallas/Fort Worth area, provides an array of services and creative solutions to homecare and hospice agencies in Texas including financial and clinical management, billing and collections, education and consulting, information systems and business development. The company plans to extend its business operations nationally.
