The companies' first venture together will be an Advanced Masters Programme in Chicago on October 24-28. Their combined knowledge and field expertise will ensure students a contiguous stream of interwoven field studies, challenges and then resolving these challenges in a RFID lab environment. In the future, both companies will use their extensive RFID lab and training facilities located in Chicago - near the Chicago O'Hare Airport - and Rogers, Arkansas - near Wal-Mart, to train students.
"We selected American RFID Solutions for their unique empirical hands-on course methodology and their ability to provide global training coverage for our clients. American RFID Solutions has already been pre-qualified to issue the RFIDSCM Accreditation", stated Ken Trussell, Chief Operations Officer of RFIDGS.
Mr. Trussell continued: "Currently we provide an end to end implementation for our clients. We found that our clients were requesting additional support after the install was completed. Identifying training as a critical need will increase our clients understanding, satisfaction and enable them to achieve maximum efficiencies of their new RFID system."
"We could not have found a more respected partner, with over 140 years of combined RFID field experience, the RFIDGS team has managed some of the worlds largest RFID implementations", stated Brad Sokol, Vice President of American RFID Solutions. "RFIDGS provides us with a second state-of-the-art lab and training facility extending our reach to address the increasing market demand for qualified and quantifiable RFID training. RFIDGS recommends the best solution to their customers; they needed a vendor neutral training company that was able to address the compendium of RFID vendor offerings used in their client implementations."
Formed in early 2005, RFIDGS combines more than 140 years of "in the trenches" experience from RFID technical experts who have been involved in many of the world's largest and most complex RFID-related implementations. RFIDGS helps government and commercial organisations meet and exceed compliance mandates with RFID veterans who are expert in developing, engineering, implementing and integrating solutions into the enterprise-level system preferred by their customers. A key to RFIDGS is the ability to effectively integrate both active as well as passive RFID solutions to drive value.
