"We are thrilled to be entering into discussions with a recognized leader in its field to collaborate in identifying the best distribution, promotion and marketing strategies for the Columba in Spain", stated Louis Massicotte, the president-founder of Medical Intelligence Technologies Inc. and president of Medical Mobile. "We are hopeful this could also lead to the expansion of our distribution network to other branches of the Movianto Group, SEUR's parent company, in other European countries."

As part of the Celesio AG, a 20 billion euro revenue health care distribution group and market leader in Europe with wholesale branches and pharmacy chains in 15 European countries, Movianto provides an unequaled platform right across the continent.

"The future collaboration between Medical Intelligence and SEUR Pharma offers a great opportunity to work together on a really innovative project", stated Ernesto Graefenhain, Director of SEUR Pharma. "This initiative facilitates the merger of the technological and health sectors, which were previously totally differentiated, and presents a wonderful challenge in terms of the positive impact it can have in our society."

The Medical Intelligence-developed Columba phone-bracelet to prevent disappearance among Alzheimer's patients is a definitive solution to the problems of wandering and straying caused by Alzheimer's disease. Combining a "handsfree" portable telephone, GPS positioning system and intelligent alert system that detects any wandering outside of a security zone, the Columba device is able to quickly locate the person who has strayed this pre-defined zone, thereby reducing the risks associated with Alzheimer's patients' wanderings.
