Medicsight PLC is providing support in the form of an unrestricted educational grant for two virtual colonoscopy courses in the Harvard Medical School, Department of Continuing Medical Education (CME) 2007 programme. Each accredited two-day mini-course will provide education through didactic lectures and hands-on sessions for radiologists, gastro-enterologists, and technologists in the current state of the art in virtual colonoscopy.

As a corporate sponsor of ESGAR, the European Society of Gastrointestinal and Abdominal Radiology, Medicsight PLC is providing sponsorship and participating in the September 2006, 5th ESGAR Hands-on Workshop on CT-Colonography in Pisa, Italy. The CME accredited workshop programme is specifically aimed at providing information and hands-on practical experience for the performance, interpretation and evaluation of CT colonography studies. The workshop also gives participants an opportunity to gain experience in using different workstations with dedicated software for the evaluation of CT-colonography studies.

Justine McQuillan, Clinical Director, Medicsight, PLC commented: "We believe that support of the Harvard Medical School, Department of Continuing Medical Education, virtual colonoscopy courses, and the 5th ESGAR CT-Colonography Workshop reinforces Medicsight's commitment to medical education.
