ICW CAMSPlus, which was developed on the basis of the ActivIdentity Card Management System, is an internationally-applicable solution that supports the delivery of smart cards with specific health care applications to citizens. The solution meets the specifications set out by Gematik, the governing body for the introduction of the German national electronic health card and, among other functions, will use a smart card to provide German citizens with a fast and secure e-prescription service, allowing authenticated card holders to store and then reproduce their digitally-signed doctor's prescription as necessary.
"We're delighted to accept this award based on our work on the German electronic health card opportunity. We are committed to working with government organisations all over the world to ensure their identity solutions adhere to local standards and enable citizens to quickly and securely access eGovernment services", ActivIdentity EMEA General Manager and SVP of Sales, Marc Hudavert, stated.
The ICW CAMSPlus solution brings together market-leading technologies, including the ActivIdentity card and credential management systems, certificate authorities and the ICW know-how, in integrating e-health business logic.
