Emergis launches next-generation pharmacy management software and connects Sobeys pharmacies to P.E.I. Drug Information System

Montréal 05 May 2008Emergis Inc., a TELUS company, has completed deployment of its next-generation pharmacy management software in Prince Edward Island (P.E.I.) and has connected local Sobeys pharmacies to the provincial Drug Information System (DIS) for the first time.

Emergis pharmacy management software, Assyst Rx, is a high performance, fully integrated system that allows pharmacies to efficiently manage their patient files, dispensing of medications, inventory and professional information. The Assyst Rx system is compliant with the HL7v3 standard, which allows pharmacists to interface seamlessly and securely with the provincial DIS.
