This high-quality CR platform enables clinics, private practices and mobile medical imaging applications to convert from film to digital images - providing rapid image capture and distribution along with lower costs. These durable, lightweight computed radiography systems are also used in military field operations, as well as in remote rural areas of developing countries, usually as part of local or regional teleradiology services.

Carestream Health's Point-of-Care tabletop CR systems enable all imaging functions to be performed within one affordable platform that includes: the single-plate CR reader, flexible phosphor screens, advanced image management software and a PC-based review station. The Point-of-Care product portfolio includes three desktop systems designed to meet a variety of imaging volume and budget requirements.

Carestream Health offers a comprehensive portfolio of CR and DR digital medical imaging systems and health care IT solutions to health care providers worldwide.

The company's new cardiology PACS supports improved productivity through the ability to review echocardiography, cardiac catheterization, ECG, nuclear cardiology and haemodynamic results on a single workstation - with fast, easy comparison of priors. The new PACS streamlines work flow by supporting on-site or remote reading of cardiology data from any networked workstation inside or outside of the enterprise. Its ability to consolidate disparate cardiology systems into a centralized solution also can deliver lower total cost of ownership.

Carestream Health's cardiology PACS integrates seamlessly with its radiology PACS, allowing health care providers to use the same workstation for diagnostic reading and clinical review of cardiology and radiology studies.

The company also offers flexible CARESTREAM Information Management Solutions (IMS) that can manage DICOM and non-DICOM information captured by cardiology, radiology and a variety of other patient imaging and information systems. With this platform, hospitals and cardiology practices can consolidate data management throughout the enterprise to help reduce the high costs associated with separate archiving systems. Carestream Health's IMS offering also simplifies business continuity and disaster recovery planning.
