The new programme from McKesson and HP is designed to offer many advantages to physician practices, including increased productivity, more focus on patient care, and the benefit of McKesson's experience with more than 100.000 practice management system deployments. As the source for solutions that improve practice performance, McKesson's offering includes clinical and EHR software as well as business management and revenue management solutions. The company also provides connectivity solutions for health information exchange and medical-surgical equipment and supplies.

With the McKesson and HP offering, physician practices will have the opportunity to choose from a broad range of packaged software and hardware options. These include McKesson's award-winning Practice Partner, Lytec MD and Medisoft Clinical EHR/practice management systems, all of which feature Bright Note Technology that automates physician chart processes.
The programme will be executed through one of HP's leading distributors, Tech Data. Preconfigured HP and McKesson bundles will be available through an on-line portal for streamlined order processing. The bundles will be configured by practice size and will include point-of-care solutions for faster input and access to patient information, improved efficiency and optimized performance.
