During the next five years, the Reynolds and Reynolds company will implement the electronic document management programme within the different Scripps Hospitals. President of Hospital Forms, Lee Hofacre, states that this provider offers both the required resources and flexibility to meet all of the document monitoring needs of the involved clinics right into the year 2000 and way beyond. The contract prescribes the execution of full services relating to document system analysis and redesign, electronic requisitioning, printing, distribution and warehousing.

To this purpose, the integrated Reynolds Advantage Network (RAN) will run various applications to easily process document purchasing, requisitioning, reporting and billing. The RAN network will entirely handle the bi-directional flow of information between the client hospitals and Reynolds' production, distribution and financial systems by means of telephone lines, fax, Internet or electronic data interchange. Consequently, business results for Hospital Forms/Scripps will no doubt increase thanks to the customized and cost-saving document management services.
