Based in the state of New York, Medical Resources owns about one hundred diagnostic imaging centres in the whole of the United States. Recently, the company has come to an agreement with the International Radiology Group (IRG), headquartered in Texas, for the regular supply of professional radiology services to those diagnostic imaging centres that are not yet under exclusive contract with other professional radiology service providers.

The newly signed agreement adds yet another valued radiology service provider relationship to the Medical Resources' treasury, according to Duane C. Montopoli, president and chief executive officer of the organization. Nevertheless, IRG offers the additional benefit to dispose of a centralized, off-site, state-of-the-art Interpretation Centre in Dallas. Next to this, the Group provides its specialized services on-site at the various facilities of its health care clients.

The employed and contracted IRG radiologists will perform both off-site and on-site acitivities. As a result, the contract with IRG will optimize the overall efficiency while maintaining the already existing high quality level in the various diagnostic imaging centres, which are operated and managed by Medical Resources. This company equally provides network management services to the managed care organizations in those areas where the centres are concentrated. IRG will be paid for its services in accordance with the terms of the general agreement.
